Well hello if you’re here from the previous Y! Auction Section, glad to see you! I sort of like the new name of Bidville (previously AuXpal) I envision Bidville as a small community of "shops" (categories) where "shoppers" (bidders/buyers) browse the "merchandise" (listings). Maybe stopping in the "café" (chat room) do a little "window shopping"(feature/hot listings). I see they plan to implement some change tonight I believe so we shall see.
Okay, Okay enough already!!! But if it’s something like this and it’s advertised in media, banners, and us just may be what we’re all looking for. But my loyalties are with the sites that help me too so if it’s somewhere else (I’ve registered at four sites since “fee” day at Y!) then that’s where I’ll be
'ladele' here only

I noticed that when I first went and checked out the site. Lots and lots of books by the same seller. Probably a friend of the family. But ya got to start somewhere. So I plan to get in the groove and list some of my books there also. It's just been a pain transferring 700+ auctions and I am getting plenty of bids/sales on the stuff I have gotten listed.

From bidville's Jan. 25 newsletter:
"Anyone that has items listed on another auction site should contact us. We may be able to copy your items from that site to ours. Or, if you have items in CSV (Comma Separated Value) format from another auction, one of our technicians can post the auctions for you. Simply email us the file. When our Bulk Lister is available, you will be able to do this yourself. For now, let us do the work!"
There's another thread in this topic from a seller that did this, and bidville was very helpful and quick in transferring their auctions.
I just signed up w/bidville recently and so far I like what I see!

Bidville, good name!I'm impressed with the site, although I'm not listing anywhere at the moment, I will be listing some items there in the near future.
Yup! Every site needs a starting point, the numbers don't scare me, I don't care if any one person has a large number of auctions up, as long as the product is real and available.
When Golds was up (and Yes I was a cheerleader for them) I basically owned a catagory in classic electronics, computers, and classic computer/electronic repair manuals. At one point over 700 auctions.
If I feel comfortable with the site when I am ready to start selling again, I will give them a shot. I like the layout, and Many of my friends are now listing there wares at Bidville.
