I was reading the Bidville announcements and read where they said they could copy over auctions from other auction sites if the seller wanted them to. I had been dreading the day when my 350 or so Yahoo auctions would end and I would have to relist them elsewhere since the vast majority are low dollar items and are not worth paying a listing fee for.
I emailed Bidville and asked them what the procedure was for transfering them over. A couple of hours later - BAM!!! - they were copied over to Bidville!!!
I'm very impressed - and grateful. It would have taken me many hours (or days) to do all those transfers - THANKS BIDVILLE!

Lovepotions - all you have to do is email them and they will tell you. I don't know how they do it technically but they did something similar and I would think even more difficult for me. They went to my web site and took over 500 items I had listed there and converted them all to AuxPal auctions. The listings look great. Somehow one of their programmers did it just from working with the basic html on my web site. I gave them no passwords or anything. They had to do it just through regular browser access to my site.
I didn't lift a finger and had 500 listings within hours. I don't know of any other site that will do that for you at no charge. That was about a week ago. Just had my first sale last night. Bidding activity is certainly slow as with any little known site. But with no time or money invested I can afford to wait and see if they can draw an audience.
