Yippeee!!! Not a sale yet - but I have my FIRST BID - thanks to a buyer who just won one of my auctions on YooHoo! THANKS DENNY! SEEEE - if we're sure to list out new location (BidVille) - hopefully buyers will follow us!! I give links in my "Payment Has Been Received" Letters and I also copy that and put in with their merchandise when shipped!! (don't put it in the "Winning Bid" Letter - if they decide not to pay - I DON'T WANT THEM TO FOLLOW ME!!!) - so anyway - we all know it's going to be slow going, but at least is "starting to get there"!!! GGGGOOOOO BidVille! Yippeeee!!!

me, too 1st sale, Bidville. And fast response from buyer. And I only have 6 auctions listed there! Am not a former yahooer...never listed there. Am an ebayer doing badly, after doing great there for so long. Lotsa non-responses, non payers, items closing with no bids at ebay lately. And I am not doing anything different.. sell collectibles, antiques, from junque to good stuff. For me and my seller friends ebay has changed a lot in the past 6 months.
Better get busy listing at Bidville.

Just got my first bid today (first bid wins auction). Considering I only had one item listed there until today when I found time to put 5 more up (item I had listed first sold), I am very pleased!!!!!!!!!!

My frist auction at bidville ended with a winniner yesterday my auction listings there are growing by tommarow all my yahoo auction will be closed I think most of it will move to bidville.
they are fast closeing in on haveing more auctions then yahoo has at this time since many sellers are buyer bidville has buyers now the other none selling buyers can be to far behind the sellers in the move.
at this time there is nearly as good a selection of item on bidville as there is on yahoo.

OK, I'm gonna follow the crowd(?) starting mid-month. I'll use Bidville to park all my "no sale after one relist" on eBay. Beats leaving them on the shelf and if it helps up the numbers, no skin off of my nose.

Whooppee! My first bid from the other day has grown into my first sale! Yipppeee! Have changed some of my auctions to "Buy It Now" - will see what happens with those. My bids are the same = 0, but the hits are growing! ggggGGGGOOOOOOOOOO BidVille! !
Oh yeah - just FYI - am using BidVille "after eBay" re-listed sales - can't afford to keep re-listing them with eBay, so I, like most others, have to park them some place! and this seems to be a very good place!

Alright, sounds like we're getting some action!
And just yesterday I had my first eBay customer take me up on my offer of FREE SHIPPING on BidVille items for my eBay customers (until the end of the month). She won an item at the Take It Price and put in a bid on another (an older book so I didn't put a Take It Price on it).
It takes time, but it's nice to see the results and hear of the success of others! Keep those success stories coming!

Great, BJ.
I am glad to see that soneone else is trying to experiment to attract people to take a look at BIDVILLE.
I have been sending my customers there and telling them I will pay S&H for the first of my auctions that they win there if they use me for referral.
I am running about 60 auctions there.
To date I have 27 referals, 2 auctions closed successful, and 9 more pending with bids.
The idea is to get the folks there to look around and decide if they like it. So far, I think they do.
I do not know what BIDVILLE may do in the future, nobody does. But I can tell you that it will become a vibrant venue if the selllers want it to and work at it.

Keep up the good work. I had 19 take it sales close yesturday, had 5 items with bids. Two closed yesturday and now have 4 with bids. It's looking good for that site.
I just noticed a link exchange banner on BidVille for eBay. Has anyone seen a BidVille banner on eBay?

Hey, if ebay is going to advertize there, it must be growing fast!
