before the demise of the ModSquad, the BB word was a NO! NO!

Although now that they're all sending their resumes to ENRON, I'm not sure if we can palaver about BB

PS: can some kind 13yo computer engineer please FIX that nasty "BREAK" bug?

You can talk about anything you want here at AW now. The Berlin Wall has fallen here at AW. ( here, here )
Personally, after all the fighting at AW over BB and the eBay lawsuit of the auction name/colors attention I never thought about BB as a reasonable alternative to either Yahoo or eBay.
If a person insists on using a third tier auction site, I recommend Carnaby or SellYourItem.com and if an inventory warehouse or a poorman's store is your goal than I recommend BV with its 600 day relisting setup.

I have been ripped off almost every other auction by BidBay sellers. Then the non-paying bidders. Does no good to complain, just like at epier. Just as bad of an experience there. I have a seller at each site that I do good transactions with, so pretty much just stick to those. As far as NPB's though Yahoo has always been thick with em and ebay as well. I guess nobody is immune. I have never had a non-payer at BV yet..but now that I've said that..sure as hell it will happen.lol
Storefronts..no patience for that, if it doesn't sell move it elsewhere once then either put it away or donate it to charity. I donate quite a bit to the womens resource center here and the salvation army.

Hi Kodi,
Yahoo has gotten much better since credit card verification for all users and now the 4 digit # on the back of the card. I have more deadbeats at ebay than at Yahoo. A few people simply decide that they don't want the item they won and ignore it. ( like some parents do with troublesome kids ) Auctions are not like fixed price venues and a buyer can Welsh on the deal fairly easy.

Personally I have found Bidbay to be extremely full of deadbeat unless you are willing to put up your auctions for those worthless BidBay Bucks.
On my cash auctions there, I run about 85% deadbeat rate. It is basically a parking lot for items that don't sell well anyway.

I've used them and had many successful transaction with users. I think they are great, and they aren't full of fees like every other site. The only fees you do pay are for enhancements, thats all. Its a great alternative to eBay, ever since eBay keeps increasing fee's. Eventually eBay will try to make 100% of your profit, I am sure they are trying that out already.

Why Not?
