Seems to have peaked out at about 1,107,000 items. Could be one the the continuous parade of sales just ended though. I just thought up a sale theme for the next sale. "Help Us Celebrate Our 20th Sale Milestone Sale" or the "We Ran Out Of New Sales Names Sale". Just kidding, good luck over there.

Hey bids,
What would be interesting about those numbers is what percentage of them are commons sports cards. It would be interesting to see a break down of the numbers as they relate to some general items.
Just a thought,

I wonder how many of the 535,016 sports cards are priced under 50 cents? That would seem to affect the revenue model of the site if the owner ever decided to attract investors or a buyer.

If bidville were ever to have insertion fees it would die a quick death. It is a no-win situation for the owner.

Actually it might get rid of the nickle items. (Or make them go up to .25 cents)

Sports card sellers need a venue too, but I wish they would seperate the sports items from the other items at BV. I have no idea how BV became so saturated with low end common cards when no other site seems to be that way.

yahoo wanted to rid the site of all the junk listings and began insertion fees. All the sellers with nickle and dime listings left to bidville and that is todays history lesson!

Someone pointed out in the Yahoo Auctions forum here at AW a short while back that a simple $1 minimum start bid price would rid the site of any very low end items.
Listing fees for any auction sites are instant death. That's way Carnaby and afew others are always pushing back the date they will start listing fees.
Kodi it sounds like those migranes are serious. Almost all of those symptons on the web page link you posted sound like MS early symptoms. Doctors rarely diagnose MS correctly in it's early stages and with the new medicines that halt the disease's advance it would be worthwhile to have them test you for that too. Just trying to help and concerned for a friend's health.

eek! bidbids that got me worried so I went surfing ( my specialty) and found a few MS sites that are very informative, and you are very right. The symptoms are the same! So I will attempt to get my doctor to listen to me. The thing is, I use Indian Health Services and they are just very uninspired there. I will have to drive into ANMC (Alaska Native Medical Center)in Anchorage and just walk into the emergency room and pretend I am dying to get their attention. I feel SO cruddy lately..my head feels like it is constantly spinning and when I stand up it feels like someone is pushing my head down to the side so that I feel I will tip over. Alot of times it feels like there is a num halo around the very top of my head. Maybe it's bad circulation or something. Anyway, thanks for the tip about the MS thing certainly appreciate that you gave me a thought, and thanks- I consider you a friend too

x
Kodi

Is that really the CEO posting or has Bryan gone off the deep end and is now signing messages with an Ed and a large Smiley Face?

Interesting rapid dip in listings. Of course we had an interesting rapid run up in listings 2 weeks ago so who knows.

Maybe Stavescards is correct. Now, if the numbers go back up this time.
