I'm try to put up an auction site targeting students.
I have a list of categories, but I don't know which to take out and which to add. Could you guys give me a hand?

I just want to narrow it down.
If you think I should add a category, please let me know how it will work for students.
If you think I should remove a category, please let me know why it will not work.

I'd drop the Antiques and Real Estate catagories unless you are also targeting teachers/professors. Most students are not likely to be able to afford either one so I doubt the catagories would be useful. On the other hand I would make sure that the books and magazines catagory had a subsection strictly for textbooks.
