I'm begining to have strong doubts about the "secret marketing plan".
Many ideas sould great in theory but do not pan out on application.

BTW, I think those cards are mostly HillBillys, since he left BV.

Actually, we really haven't geared up the marketing arm just yet. We are going to work out a couple of technical details first, and do some smaller promotions. The "marketing" plan you are speaking of is not in full implementation. 
There is some reworking that needs to be done and will be fixed shortly. Thanks for noticing though!

This prolonged downtime due to the site being hacked ( per Patty of Moo in a post ) does not inspire confidence in the site of the Chuck and his staff. Mooootley Crew.

Still down, may be a new record of an online auction for being down. I wonder how many of the few sellers will pull their auctions after the get back in? I suppose it's better all this happened before the secret marketing plan was in full swing.

I'm glad TopNotchAuctions was spared from the attack. My guess is a disgruntled BB/ADer had a hand in the attack. It'd almost be worth a few bucks to pay a reformed hacker to have a go at breaching a site's security to see what weaknesses actually do exist. There were so many problems at ACow with such things as the internal email system that it is not surprising that they had and are still having problems.
There are a lot of good articles out there on the web on the subject.

In all reality I don't think they have committed suicide. It is lucky for them that this happened now rather than later, when there would have been many more member's. I like the site real well. I just wish they would get some type of relist. That is the only discouraging thing I find about the place. I have auctions in the relist bin at this moment. I find it just takes to much time to individually relist. See ya'll later, Hillbilly
