I purchased some items on bidbay just to see what people were selling, 50 % was junk you couldn't give away, the other 50 % was a good deal. So regardless of what auction site you use there's always an upside and downside to everything.
Ebay has jacked up thier fees, people at yahoo are finaly paying to sell like the rest of us. I think yahoo sellers should quit crying, and get over it. There's no such thing as a free ride, never has been and never will be. There's always a new auction site popping up, my time is too valuable to list on every auction that comes around, As far as bidbay is concearned, they do okay since they don't charge any listing fees. Let me ask you people who are quick to judge some one else's company (ie) "BIDBAY" have you ever owned a multi billion dollar corp? or even had to deal with customer complaints, I wouldn't be worring about your Bidbay Bucks, Since they really didn't cost you any money to begin with ! Face it, we are going into a full blown recession, thanks to you know who? Besides what other country can you pay for a full pardon from the President of the "FREE WORLD ???"

Here is what matters most.
They have no underwriter (ie Goldman Sachs. Merrill Lynch etc) They are attempting to do this themselves on a best efforts basis.
They will list O.T.C.
When a major underwriter takes a new auction site public...Then you should pay more attention.

I agree with you. I sell (and buy) on e-bay, Yahoo, Bidbay, Yahoo and excite. I look at it the same way, you take the good with the bad. Every site has it`s great stuff and not so great stuff. I love the whole online auction idea! I have fun with it and I meet a lot of nice people. I am not a Yahoo whinner (spelling?) but I do wish they started with a Final value fee than a listing fee. Face it .. every site gets slammed! Why would you expect BidBay to be exempt. I'm serious here .. I'm not saying you have to like it (I didn't like it when Gold's got slammed) but it happens .. to ebay, to BibBay, to Dutchbid, to Yahoo, to Amazon ... you name it! It's the nature of the posters on these boards... 'in this environment' anyway.
I have a memory like a steel trap .. unfortunately it's rusted shut!

WOW..This place sure has gotten busy..BidBay bashing...Hmmm....I always thought the contests where killing them...now it seems to be a group of people must be republicans I don't know..Either way Bidbay seems to be on the right track to me moving right along...
and that multi billion is bidbay bucks

Bidbay is a great place to sell and buy. If you got to know all the people there you will find out that they pull their pants on one leg at a time just like you do.
