A former ePier user says that the ask a seller function requires payment to ePier by the question poser to get an answer. This sounds very odd, can it be true?

Yes, you can ASK a seller a question. But they won't release the answer until you pay $25 mailbox fee (or something like that). It sends you an e-mail saying seller is sending a response, click here to receive it. When you click to receive it, it asks for $$$ or you can't read their answer.

No,
I have used that option many times and have never had to pay a dime to use it. In fact, I also had a person ask me a question last evening without a problem either.

I thought the lady was full of it. I do remember a flap over the question thing at one time at ePier though.
