Truthfully bids!! I have to agree with you. I love Bidville as an auction site, but I do believe it is slowly sinking. I guess Bidville is like a crack addiction. I just can't break the damn habit. Hillbilly

I knew for along time Bidville was on the road of shutting down, and I look for it within 6 months to a year. Like the site or not its not making much revenue at all. Epier on the other hand did the right thing by charging a FVF and now they can advertise. With only a tiny fraction of sellers paying any fees to bidville they simply dont have the money to repair the site. The gallery is down alot, there is no description search, and bryan the one man operation does not have the knowledge to fix the problems. I would say the average item sells on bidville for a nickel up to $4.00, but I will do some research.

The ignore feature here is so great. Did Moo ever get it? You have to remember to log in each time for it to work.
I believe the average sell price is about $2, due mostly to the huge amount of 1 cent to 50 cent cards. More and more of the original AuxPal hosted images are disappearing and it doesn't matter if you are paying the minimum $5/yr or $15/month. Mr. Orlando ( can't really call him Dr. Orlando can we? ) use to boast of having all of the server equipment paid for from previous web adventures ( I didn't call them failures ) so the equipment must be getting fairly old and dated.
I good nicknsme for Bryan would be "The Omega Man" or the last man or the last man at the Alamo.
I love ignoring Cuffffff and whoever emak is.
Bidville, can you hear Taps playing in the distance?

It's really funny that you would say you are ignoring the very person who's attention you had hoped to gain for all these months. You have my attention... now you ignore me? Seems like you only want to discuss me when I'm not around...
I hope you aren't the AW Welcome Wagon or they're going to have to rethink the name and call it the AW Whiney Wagon.

Yeah bids, you obviously have us on ignore. That's why you respond to every post that is made. Or is that you have us on ignore, but you just CAN'T STAND not reading our posts when you see our names, and force yourself to read them.
A question back at you - how will you fill those dreary days otherwise known as your existence when/if BV goes under? Oh, never mind, I forgot you won't see this anyway.

I can just imagine the gist of this discussion
emak ... don't worry about bidsbids future. The last time she got kicked off AW under the alias of "dimview" for doing this, she went over to the Moo and started the same nonsense over there. It now appears as though she has lost her fanbase as "dimview" at the Moo, but there are new forum sites starting daily. I'm sure bidbids/dimview and her Band of Reknown will find a happy place to taunt BidVillers.
Until then, use your PLONK key ...

RB you seem obsessed with Dimview for some reason. Dim is still at the moo so why not visit him there?
I dont see anyone baiting bidville users, we are just stating our opinion, and in mine the site stinks an wont be around in the future. Epier is on the right track charging a FVF and they can now advertise thus bringing in more sellers. How much money has Bidville spent so far this year? ZERO...
Bidsbids dont put them on ignore because its so darn funny how they act. Cuff and the others are a dying breed just like bidville.

You asked if MOO ever got an ignore feature. The answer is NO and I sure wish they would. It's getting to the point that filtering through all the propaganda from the BB/AD & Bidvile's cheerleaders is more of a nuisance than it's worth to find interesting posts of value. I would guess that 80% of the post are nothing but drivel.
Edited to add: Yes the ignore feature does work quite nicely. After all one already knows what they are going to say anyway. LOL

blairwitch ... can't visit dimview at the Moo (I am not a member and therefore I can only read her nonsense there), and I have put her on ignore since she resurrected herself as bidsbids here.
Seems like she is making the same type of bash-Bidville followed by her typical "I didn't say that" type comments here based on the responses. This is like listening to one side of a phone call only so I could be off base in my assumption

The ignore feature works great on RB aka Buzz. He and Cuff are very much alike. I wish I'd employed the ignore feature more often in the past with him instead of letting him get to me.
PopUps Rules! Capital One is a great credit card! Hockey sux!
I don't think Patty can get the ignore feature to work at Moo. The Quene feature never worked worth a crap either.

reality1 I told the MOO about having an ignore feature, but it fell on deaf ears. Now the site is complete drivel. Dimview doesnt post stats there anymore so its worthless to me. You know things are bad when cuff comes back to AW.

What category is it you sell in again on BV? I'd like to take a look at the category and get some of my own 'stats'.

If you're looking for an answer from bidbids, you won't get one. It has been proven on other forums that bidsbids/dimview has never listed or sold anything on any auction venue. The only reason she hasn't created a 3rd alias for posting on eBay is that eBay would turf her in a second for the types of personal, below-the-belt, cowardly attacks she thrives on.
That's what make her vendetta against Bidville so strange. I don't think her problem is with Bidville, per se, but rather she likes to rile a few people.
Unfortunately for bidsbids/dimview, very few folks even read her garbage anymore. Here, at AW, we can at least put her on ignore and read what others have to say

Something is rotten in Bethlehem. If Bryan was going on an extended vacation he probably would have placed an announcement ( on announcement page ) saying so.
I have a few theories to kick about with you all ( you like the Southern accent? )
Recent events around the time of Bryan's disappearance include the PayPal buyout by MegBay. Consider this, AuxPal/NoBidding/Bidville has/had a lawsuit against PayPal. When most business units are acquired by a bigger business the acquiring unit will inherit all debts and pending lawsuits. What oftentimes happens is the acquiring unit tries to get the unit being acquired to clear up as many of any pending lawsuits as possible. BV or PP dragged out the PP/BV lawsuit and it worked out in BV's favor. I speculate that BV got a healthy token payment to drop the lawsuit and declare no wrongdoing by PayPal. The Greek law firm hired by ED in Pennsylvania gets 40% and Ed/Jen/Ed? gets 40% or 50% and Bryan gets 10% or 20% for his 18 hour workdays for the last 18 months. Bryan put up with all the BV crap for that reason and now is drinking Pina Coladas in Mexico and trying to wash all those bad memories from his head!

blairwitch ... mine was a voluntary withdrawl from Bidville. It had nothing to do with the auction side of the venue, or any of the great and not so great buyers and sellers that I met there and traded with. It had everything to do with my belief that using porn pop-ups to generate revenue was a very sleazy way to run the venue, and I told that to the then Prez.

Bidsbids I am sure Bryan wishes that happened, but it did not. Dimview posted paypal's report and not one mention of any suit with bidville. I live in PA and a friend in Harrisburg told me there is no suit on any court schedule, and it takes no more than a year for a trial. Bidville filed suit last June if I recall. Since bidville was included in paypal's dropdown on the site that could have been the agreement. With eBay buying paypal I look for paypal to be used on ebay only.
RB I think I do recall the porn pop-up scandal when it happened. I know bidville is full of pop-ups because my pop-up killer beeps alot on there.

RB ragged on Eddie Doc on the BV message center and here at AW. Many people lost a lot of respect for the BV Prez for stooping to RB's level and baiting. When RB called the porn popups ( probably a virus on RB's puter ) sleezy the Prez blew his Latin tempered stack and banished Buzz. Buzz has a different story but as Seinfelf would say .. Yada, Yada, Yada.
My other theory about Bryan's prolonged disappearance is that he is either on vacation ( to Claire Shores, Michigan maybe? ) and let someone else tend the store but gave orders to answer no emails or delete no threads without calling him first. He appears to be very shy or not eager to communicate with the BV users anyway.
Then maybe he just quit without notice? Could be that way. It reminds me a little of the Stephen King book/movie called The Stand where one of the few survivors hears a radio station broadcasting. When he finally reaches the radio station it is fully automated with nary a soul in the place.
