A short while ago on a BV forum a member asked which BV seller had the most auctions running, excluding the bookconsignment special storefront seller.
On 8/11 one of the 6 featured sellers ( ralphieboy100 ) had 16,429 auctions running. Whenever you encounter this message Too many items to list. The first 6,000 are viewable. and want to know the actual total, simple select the About Me link of the seller and the actual number will be on that page.
( ironically, this seller has no premimum meembership )

Warehousing of low-demand goods has been a problem on Bidville from the start. Any quality items are quickly drowned out in junk listings. Bidville needs to clean out this junk, but they like to give the impression there is over one million quality items.

hi i noticed this with yahoo in the past too I am trying ioffer now very neat site they don't seem to have this problem browsing around i was surprised at the quality of the items. I am getting some great stuff for xmas, shopping early this year for the first time ever,it's fun.
they also have a thing called carnivore to stop scammers which is cool.
i think a lot of people are looking for a place to move as these sites that people just park their little stuff helps the site numbers but not the sales, too much to wade through..always wondered why people at sites like bv list little stuff really cheap each item why not put 1o items together for 2 or 3 dollars less work & emailing shipping etc..
