A auction site for just online related game stuff, mostly all Everquest auctions currently. Since ebay has started reporting everquest sellers to Verant (makers of EQ) players have been making the switch to avoid getting their accounts banned by Verant.
Due to pressure from Verant they are having to list their catagories in a general matter, that can relate to any online game (not just EQ).
There is a really interesting war going on right now with online game auctions.
1st - Ebay deletes all Everquest auctions.
2nd - Yahoo deletes all Everquest auctions
3rd - Player Auctions deletes all Everquest auctions
4th - Player Auctions sets up new catagory system and a new agreement to allow users to sell everquest and other online game accounts and vow not to hand over personal info to game makers (Verant).
5th - ebay removes Everquest, UO and Asherons Call catagories and puts them all in one "Internet Games" catagory and puts up a new agreement about itellectual property.
6th - ebay yet again deletes all Everquest auctions and this time reports users personal info to Verant. Verant now banning player accounts of anyone reported to them by ebay.
7th - auctions slowly moving over to Player Auctions but a lot of sellers are sitting back to see what happens.
This whole thing is insane, I used to make about $15k a month in everquest sales, Im hoping the eq community will help back up Player Auctions who seem to be the only site willing to stand up to Verant.
