Hi all -

I plan to start mentioning Bidville in my email to winning bidders. I had an idea for those of you who have already sold on Bidville. Could you ask your bidders how they found out about the site, and report back here?

Once Bidville increases their inventory to 300,000+ and starts to be listed on auction searches, expect it to lead-frog over Yahoo! and maybe even Bidbay.

Heck, Bidville will have more SportsCard auctions by the end of the week compared to Yahoo!

I think most yahoo sellers are shifting to bidville, and will help it grow even more. Its nice to have more options that ebay.

In all my EOA notes I give the link to BidVille. These are all E-bay customers. I already have a number of people that have signed on and brought items on the site. About 15 people have reported back that they love the new site. All seemed to succumb to impulse buying which they have not done on E-bay for a few years. Go BidVille!

Been sending out notices of my new Bidville 'home' to all EOAs for the last few weeks. I then got to thinking how I could broaden this to really let people know about it. I then started to go through my various folders in my email program and found *WOW* hundreds of past excellent customers! (I don't seem to get around to deleting too often, but that's a good thing for this.)

I wrote up a short note with the link provided in your TrackPal just for you to use as a referral to sign up and receive credit for the referral. I am sending out a few (25-30) at a time so I can keep track and have received some lovely replies thanking me for the link. Hope this helps all of us at Bidville!

I just got an actual payment of an auction I had. : ) I am still in the process of moving my yahoo items over. I have asked and the people I've heard from are former yahooer's buyers and sellers. Another winner is combining mulitiple items. Wow! I really wasn't expecting to do much business for a month or more knowing this is a new site. But it's been better than anticipated. I wish AW would have an lister feature with bidville now! (HINT HINT!)

It would not be premature for Bidville to have its own section in the Message Center. I'm sure I'm not the first to suggest it. I noticed there is only "Amazon", "Ebay", & "Yahoo" besides "Other Online Auctions".
