This has to be a record high for BV. Why is there a long thread a BV say that BV cleaned house and deleted many old auctions? We're about 60 to 70 days away from the payup for verification date. That's when there should be a purge of auctions due to sellers not paying their Bryan dues.

The reason several people think they cleaned house is due to glitches in the site. I have edited the stats twice so far, and still the numbers are not correct.

I think stavescards has the figured out the real reason for the declining BV listing numbers. When the 99 relists at 30 days each maximum duration was changed by BV to 20 relists at 30 days each maximum duration, that set all of the long term auctions at 600 days instead of their 8.5 years former duration. It was about 600 days ago that the change was instituted at BV. The listing numbers peaked at about 1,198,000+ about a week ago and now are about 8,000 less than that all-time high. If the numbers continue to drop that could be the reason. The BV numbers fluctuate quite a bit as big sellers relist their auctions though.
