Didn't last long did it? What a bonehead BV move in the first place. The really smart BV move would be to completely shut down their message center for good. Only a few regular posters use it anyway.

Well at least the boards were open long enough for a BUYER with a zero rating to post a complaint/warning about a VERIFIED bidville seller that ripped her off for the sum of $130.00 and messed up her childs Christmas

I want to inform you all...PLEASE do NOT bid on any item of User name "********" or email address of **********@****.***. This seller is fraudulant. I, along with 2 other bidders won item #*******, on Nov. 24, 2002. I sent a money order out on Nov. 26, and have gotten no reply since. The postal service told me that they cashed my money order. As this was a Christmas gift (and good money out of pocket, at that) I could not afford to buy my son another one for a gift. HOW SAD...I hope they (******) had a great Christmas on Me!! Bidville just replied as "read user Agreement"...kinda de-pressing. I am taking ALL
actions NOW!!
And now she poor girl can’t even post on the forums. WHAT A SLAP IN THE FACE
Some of you ask, were are bidders. Do any of you believe that this person will be buying online anytime soon? I don’t

Any auction management team with half a brain would either shut down the BV message ceter or try to moderate it a little. It is much more a liability than an assest to the site.
There are three or four female posters there that run it like a henhouse.

Or at least be crooked enough like Ebay to immediately remove the post like in a millisecond and ban a good buyers(like me with over 300 positive feed backs) from the site. More precious to keep up the image than worry about a good buyer. As to the response by Bidville, up to this time I was sticking up for any auctioneer trying to go against Ebay, but after that reply, he's on his own.

The January 16th date will tell a lot about what most sellers feel about BV. Is it worth even a very low $5 to re-verify for 6 months with little or no sales? Many will not even know it's coming and BV should have the courtesy to warn all sellers that their auctions will be pulled if they do not verify by a certain date.
There doesn't appear to be a resonable alternate to BV but at least a true free site with a only decent FVF will not cost the seller any fees if nothing sells.
