Last week I had a great experience and a bad experience buying.

Great was that I found something that I liked. I asked how much shipping was--it wasn't in the ad.I got a prompt reply and placed an offer. It was accepted and I was told that I could have any of the other jewellery shown in the store and pay the same shipping for all. Nice job of suggestive selling by the seller. I went off to look at her store.I found 2 more items--made an offer. They countered and we met happily--I bought 2 more things and the seller made extra profit. Back and forth all in the matter of 30 minutes.I paid them and item is hopefully on the way.Classic good transaction!

Bad experience was with a seller where I went to their store because I liked an item I saw in the listings. I asked a question about it--and got a reply within a few hours. I made an offer for 4 items through the store. I have heard nothing back and this is the last day for my offer to stand. I offered--full price plus what I myself charge for shipping. You have the option of offering a total amount including shipping. After 6 years--I am pretty good at knowing what this will cost to mail-1st class. Using their terms--shipping would be over double what I charge. No, I didn't explain my offer reasoning. But--I have NO RESPONCE! If they hated my offer they could decline, make a counter offer, laugh in my face--whatever--but no reponse is not an option.

Should I Neg that seller and warn others? As a buyer--I have never done this.If it wasn't for that initial quick question answered I probably wouldn't be so irate.

I'm not sure, but I don't think you can neg a seller if they haven't completed a transaction with you - and if your offer is still pending action, its not completed.

You're right and wouldn't post any feedback prematurely. They have 4 1/2 hours left to complete their end.

I was just trying to figure if I should take the time to Neg them--or just shrug my shoulders and walk away. The whole idea behind ioffer is to be able to negotiate. If they can't or won't--what are they doing listing there?

The first lot that I bought came in today's mail! It is outstanding! Nicely packed as well!

Same stuff sells on e bay over and over. 75 listings right now) offereing of $10.00 for a widget anyone knows is a $100.00 kitchen appliance. What a waste of time to even bother responding to that.
