As with most new companies there will be growing pains. I am reading some of these posts and can't believe that people would be complaining about a new company that is offering FREE listings for YOU. BidBay.com seems to be the real deal. They are giving away a lot of money to their visitors and NOT CHARGING A PENNY FOR THEIR SERVICES! How can you possibly complain over a few rare glitches? I have been using the service and so have thousands of others. Why is it that nobody complains when eBay crashes for three or four days? BidBay is growing and I recommend them to all. After all, the spirit of the Internet is to root for the underdog and support them through the "glitches". Remember the key word "FREE"!

I think you are reading the postings all wrong. First of all, you can see that the many posters are trying to give bidbay a shot but so far has met some resistance due to the many difficulties of the site or just because they are new to bidbay. They are voicing their concern & everyone should appreciate that. It is through traders like them that the site get better. It also seems to me that the folks at bidbay are willing to help resolve the issues. So everyone is happy happy & feel the love mambo jumbo.
As for the spirit of the internet & rooting for the small guy. First of all, I don't root for someone because he is the under-dog or the leader. I root for the site which can serve my needs the best. Every site wants to be successful & eventually be in the position to make money. If there comes a time when bidbay or baybid or badboy.com becomes a bid company listed on Wall Street for $300/share, than good for them. As long as they can bring in the buyers & sellers & provide decent service & make me lots of money, then I will be there to use it. As for FREE, so what Yahoo is also FREE. And the next auction site called 'Uncle Joe Bob Garage.com' & 'I am a small weeny.com' will also be free. It bloody doesn't mean I have to give a rats ass about them if they can't get the job done. The internet isn't for the small rats & big lions, its for people who can get it done...its business.

Wow, very unsympathetic.... anyway, bidbay.com is a great site. I just bought two things for my girlfriend there. Nothing wrong with being the new guy.

I don't think bidbay is looking for pity. I'd rather support a site who is willing to improve & compete on par with the other guys. Who would you support a site whose motto is 'I am new please help, come on please pretty please' or a site whose motto is 'I am new, give me a shot because I believe I can do the job equally if not better than the next guy'. I think the people who are visiting bidbay are pointing the glitches there & they are doing a great job helping bidbay work out the small glitches. I don't know bidbay, are you looking for pity.
