EPIER is a great site! Easy to set preferences ... easy to list.
Although there are times of slowness or down time... improvements are being made. Customer support is dedicated to cope with the growth.
I , for one, love its potential. Its user friendly and goes back to online auction basics! Simple is better!
As far as Bidville is concerned, I don't know what to think. People say that the CEO has promised to never charge fees to those wh osign up now. Little fishy there. I do like the site, however.
Epier has on their logo's -- NO FEES EVER... that's a pretty big statement to live up to. So far, they seem to have the right attitude to actually live up to their word. I hope they will continue to grow!

I agree with you post about epier. they are great over there. They really listen and respond (not just canned messages either)to customers concerns and are making improvements almost daily.

Not only do the folks at epier listen, and not only is their site free, but perhaps the most important thing (from a sellers point of view anyway) is that I see bidding there.
I have sold 11 items there in the last 23 days - about one item every other day. I'm not breaking any sales records you understand, but its getting better all the time and its not costing me anything!
Interesting to note that bidding seems to be going on despite the fact that epier is not really a "slick" looking site, and DOES NOT have a quater of a million items listed, or offer phoney "epier bux" or any of those gimicks.
I think sellers and bidders alike owe it to themselves to give epier a close look.
Edited to ad that I DO NOT work for epier, and do indeed list on other sites as well

Hi, i really like Epier, they make auctions fun again. We can have lower prices not having to pay all those fees too.People are really starting to get bids now.guess they are going to have a new payment deal kinda like Paypal & that will assure the site remains free..
Seems to be growing daily, Super nice people on the live chat board too.guess they are doing a Huge upgrade on friday to handle the influx of EBAY BOYCOTTERS...sure nice not to have a big listing bill & no sales at the end of the month anymore.a lot of people there use that new feedback site link to show all your auction feedback, great timing a big help.
It's worth Giving it a try it's free,pretty neat.

So according to you, Epier seems to have the "right attitude" to live up to their logo, but the No Fees guarantee statement issued and posted on Bidville's site is a "little fishy there". LOL....If you "don't know what to think", why are you making unfounded statements. You have no credibility.

Hello? Are we still on planet earth? You seem to be missing a point. I am stating that Bidville is making no promises. Sure its free now.. but what about later? Ebay was free at one time... right? EPIER has made a solid statment ... No FEES ... EVER... If they don't live up to their promises then their ship will sink . NO FEES EVER means just that!

I had been with ePier months before the Yahoo debacle and sold only 2 items to the same person. I wasn't getting any hits either.
I'm doing a lot better on BidVille, hits and selling.
I feel rather badly about it because, for some reason, ePier has a nice feel about it. I hope things go well with them.

I am listing some things on epier, can't lose, no fees. I just don't see the bids...yet? Not sure about the history, if anyone knows?
I still am going to do ebay. I still, even when its slow, get bids. And will continue to look at other sites.

THIS SITE LOOKS LIKE IT HAS POTENTIAL BUT I'M WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS DOING TO ADVERTISE TO BUYERS?
SO MANY BIDS SEEM TO BE FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE ALREADY SELLING ON THE SITE OR CROSSOVER CUSTOMERS FROM OTHER AVENUES.
I DO HOPE THEY DO WELL. I WOULD LIKE TO PROFIT THERE

Its advertising is word of mouth - namely US!
I have my first bid - only listed 2-3 things on the two newest free sites to see what happens... will plan on dumping a bulk loading listing on Epier once I figure out their bulk listing system and then we'll see what happens...
My big profits are still on Ebay, but if I can move low-end inventory into good homes, I"ll be happy..

I am running some test auctions on EPIER, and find it a nice site to post on - whether it will produce is to be seen.
AS far as slow, as I am a Yahoo Refugee, I am testing a number of new sites, and personally have found BidBay a very slow post, but no problem with EPIER, the rate one can post at to a site may have something to do with your own ISP routing.
I was trying to do a test again on Yahoo, and it has been moving so slow in the last 2 days my computer timed out before it changed pages, so I just junked the test idea.
For all the bally hoo I heard about BidVille, I have had no sales there, but am having sales on BidBay and AuctionAddict, plus one specialty site.
