Gegy Goes Live
Hello Everyone,
We are writing to you because you have registered with Gegy in the past and have indicated that you wish to receive new announcements from us.
While we know that for some of you it has been a long time coming, we are pleased to announce, with pride and humility, that Gegy has begun the phased rollout of its initial Online Seller service offerings.
On January 1st, 2004, Gegy's new web site was launched to signal the inauguration of our new service offerings. It is through this site that you can view, and ultimately gain access to, Gegy's initial services.
Our phased rollout includes controlling the number of Online Sellers we will be integrating at this stage of the new service. In order to ensure a sure-footed and high quality entry into the marketplace, we have begun to invite small groups of registered sellers into the system in staged intervals. Over the coming weeks, Gegy will contact each of you directly to reconfirm your interest in our services, and to provide guidance on how to access Gegy's retailing and e-sourcing environment. We look forward to a rewarding partnership with each Seller who chooses to use our services.
For those of you who have been following our evolution since 2001, and who have often expressed a sincere interest in our progress, we feel that it is important to explain our long delay in launching. Following our beta test of our popular auction platform, it became clear to us that our initial business model and product offering did not meet the standards necessary to create a true and lasting value proposition for Online Sellers. With this understanding came the resolve to rebuild Gegy from the ground up with an evolved vision and new team.
With some hard lessons learned, Gegy has dedicated the last two years to building a new platform sufficiently dimensional and functional to represent a very meaningful offering to the online selling community. Its cornerstone elements are now a Virtual Warehouse stocked with products from our first wholesale distributor, advanced fulfillment capability, a highly secure payment engine complimented by retailing services including e-stores, shopping carts, customer support and fraud prevention. These services were all designed with the single objective of improving the Online Seller's bottom line.
Gegy's service options and available products lines will expand in the coming months as we add additional selling tools and new distributing partners to help you grow and manage your customer base.
As a final prelude to Gegy's marketplace entry, on behalf of all of us at Gegy, we want to express our sincere appreciation for the patience and encouragement shown by many of you. We hope this marks a new beginning to a long and prosperous relationship with each Online Seller choosing to use our services. We encourage you to revisit our website to take a fresh look at Gegy.

I think it is too late anyway for Gegy. Too many promises early that didn't pan out hurt any chance for them. They did have a good idea up front, but there are many others out there the are now using the same basic formula and either just barely afloat or already have sunk.
PS: It figures that the doofus had the scoop on this one. Go for a walk once in a while. You are hurting your chair.
