Maybe Ebay and the others will get some "real" competition.

So far little action, but it's still in the beginning stage.

Usually me and Sal don't see eye to eye. But in this case, I think we would agree that this site is on the right track.

I went ahead and gave it a token try and to my surprise, great results. I listed only 10 items just to see if there was any traffic there. To my surprise, there is a lot and have sold three of the items in the first two days. This site has the potential to be real competition to ebay.

From my experience on this site in only three days, I would say don't wait any longer. List your items today.

Traffic seems to be great at Overstock right now. Hope it lasts. Their commercials are starting to appear on TV.

I'm impressed by the (counter) traffic, which equals Ebay.

Has anyone seen it on commerical TV yet? Cable is nice, and much more than everyone except for Ebay, but if they are going to be a serious contender in the auction industry, the adds better get placed on network TV.

I'm selling far more on OS than on eBay. Somehow, and don't ask me how, I made it to featured seller. I have no clue how they do it, but I'm hot looking a gift horse in the mouth. LOL!

Just wish the invoicing system was better.

Kind of strange. I can say the same thing now that I look at my sales chart.

Makes one think that with all of the so called improvements that ebay is making, are they really driving the bidders away?

What are you selling on OVS? I have 3 items listed just to see if it moves...I notice that wholesale lot sales are very big.

I am impressed!! Listed over there 4 days ago and have sold 2 items with money already in hand and have had 324 lookers as of this morning. The advertising is great. Saw it in a magazine while in doctors office and also on TV. I don't have cable so have had to seen it on a national station.

I'm selling jewelry, accessories and collectibles. I've sold 6 items so far (another one has bids but hasn't closed yet) and they've been items I couldn't move on eBay. So far on eBay, I'vs had bids on two items for the last week. It takes no time at all to list. I like it. It's got less bells and whistles than eBay and in this case, it appears to be a good thing.

Thanks, OS!!!!!!
