We just received the final edit of the commercial we'll be running on 12 US cable networks starting in April. Right now we are getting ready to build the site's inventory and invite seasoned online sellers to join our GEARup program.
We are prepared to help sellers who would like to move their inventory from competitive site's bulk loaders, such as eBay's turbolister, or Bidvilles's bulk loader, etc. For information about this option, you can write me directly at [email protected]
We have also finalized our negotiations with SCA promotions for a $500,000 daily lottery and sweepstakes program. We are waiting to finalize the bonding process in the states of Florida and New York before formally announcing this promotion. It will run concurrently with the television campaign.
We'll be increasing our exposure to specific google adwords and running a few preemptive online initiatives right before the commercials run.
We'll keep everyone posted as our team continues to execute our marketing plan.

You actually want the crap from bidville? No chance in hell I would even consider putting my quality items next to the garbage associated with bidville. Now dump the bidville swapping idea, and you will have a fighting chance.

Watch out, Stonecold!
He might sprinkle some pixie-dust on yer head, &, POOF! you'll turn into a Carnababy!

Well, gee, Ralphie! THAT'S not very nice! Bad doggie! Go to yer cage!
However, Leo, I do think Ralphie has a valid point here: "Yer barking up da wrong tree..."
With all yer brains, and technical expertise, not to mention EXPERIENCE (Carnaby, Pixie-Fairies, etc, etc, ad nauseum), you'd think you get the message: THE WORLD NEEDS ANOTHER SPORTS-CARD AUCTION SITE ABOUT AS MUCH...
Why don't ya steer on a different tack, such as trying to convince GOOGLE or YAHOO or AMAZON or RALPHIE, or any of the other MAJOR PLAYERS in e-commerce to TAKE ON MAD MEG??

You might have a point. We've been fortunate that all the requests we received so far have been from current of former eBay sellers.
I have also posted this information on a few other forums, and would like to share it here:
After reviewing the commercial's final edits, we realized they weren't quite "final". Our videographer is adding some graphical elements that we think will give the ads a lot more impact.
In the meantime, I've loaded two low-res/low bandwidth versions of the two versions so we can at least give our members a preview. Here they are:
Both are in "WMV/WVX" format, and will stream to anyone with at least a modem connection and the Windows Media Player:
I've kept these versions grainy on purpose so as many of our members as possible can have a chance to preview them. As soon as I get the edit with the new graphics, I'll post them in higher-bandwidth formats.
Thanks,
Leo
