Hearing the positives and negatives, I decided to list some auctions on Bidbay last week and give them a chance. Now I am STILL not taking sides until I hear a response from Bidbay but if the templates have been stolen and in fact I have used them in my auctions, then I believe I TOO am guilty of copyright theft! I work in a profession that is based on honesty and integrity (ok so we umpires have to be blind too) but the last thing I need is to be named in some mass copyright law suit. Bottom line, I am waiting for the bidbay response. I HOPE there is a mistake here because I have met some really decent people over there but I have to look out for myself and my career.

ballsandstrikes, I was here the day you decided to give Bidbay a try...I believe that everyone should come to there own conclusions regarding this issue..the only advise I have to offer at this point is get out while you can...take the templates off your auctions right away..I really do not feel you have anything to worry about regarding a lawsuit against you, as the members of bidbay do not know the shady dealings of Bidbay...JMHO

ballsandstrikes, I personally think you made the right choice...I am sorry that after you did say you were leaving and gave a very good explanation to all that you were attacked. You have to do what is right for you..in the end that is all that matters...Good Luck to you
