I guess a lot of you would say eBay, but my experienc tells me it was Yahoo! and now will be probably Bidville.

I've sold items 50% higher than what was the price sold on ebay. See here's the thing: On Yahoo! you could list it higher and wait for a buyer... eventually one came who was willing to pay the higher price. You really couln't do that on eBay because you'll end up losing money on insertion fees.

Now some will say you get to sell more on eBay. Is that true? I never listed a fraction the amount of stuff I posted on Yahoo vs eBay. The stuff of Yahoo! sold slower, but sometimes at a mich higher price. I could also list 10-20x more auctions. So it all balanced out...
