As we all know they have announced a bunch more contests over on the BidBay boards to take the users minds off of the truth.

But this I am concerned about. I have bookmarked this and have printed out a copy of it and will be forwarding it in a complaint to the FTC the Federal Trade Commission.

The CEO began a new thread announcing for one member to come in and look. And in the message body of that post he gave her the link to an auction where they would find the object they have to click on in order to win cash money. The prize was $50.00

Another member on that same thread asked the CEO if he's got an "itch" to give out the locations of the prize to email him. I wonder if this will happen?

Now why did the CEO choose one member to point this out to?

Is this ethical? Is it legal? Is it fair?

I wonder about all three.

I'm sure someone will be over here quickly to point out he's the CEO and he can do whatever he wants to and that this is not really a "contest" blah blah blah pass the koolaid!

Man will the integrity issues over there ever cease to exist?

AG2,

I've been meaning to ask you? Where did you obtain the Bidbay stores that I purchased from you? Did you pay cash for them or bidbay bucks. I know I gave you cash for them.

Is it ethical to be for a site when it is to your financial advantage and against it, when it is no longer worth it to you? Ethics seem to be such a shady area to define, no?

Catie

Edited to correct typo.

AG2- I would take the time and answer your question, But since you already had form your own opinion on the matter. I believe that the best person to answer your own question is your self.
as this debate will be a one way street.
due to such a narrow line

mrfanini

The opinion express above are just for comparison purpose
only. Please be advised that your brain mileage may change, ME think it Will
and to some of "US" it will be a total recall.

please noted the word "US"

AG2,

I will attempt to answer it. I think GT was trying to create fun at the site. He may have posted that for one person to read, but obviously everyone reading the board was free to click on that link. As it was, it was a different person who found the Bidbay Billy. If Mystery Man started to hand out $50 bills, would there be as much ruckus? If it is illegal, then let the FTC determine it. I hold no pretenses in knowing the law in such matters.

Now, will you attempt to answer my question please?

AG2- I did answer your Question

your answer is in between the line
do to the fact (thank to you) that I'm in a narrow line with AW

And Knottedlady to answer your question.

I paid for them with the BidBay bucks I won in one of the only contests I participated in.

They were an investment and they paid off.

When I sold you and others my BidBay Buck stores I sold them all with the exception of 1 because I had still planned on staying.

However after the integrity issues continued to be ignored on that site I decided I wanted out of there as I did not want my name attached to it and sold them all.

You and the others I sold them to were aware that I was leaving. I think I made that perfectly clear.

I had planned on doing it quietly until George made an appearance over here attempting to get the AW moderators to censor the posts that were negative in regards to BidBay. That angered me...quite a bit to say the least. So I then decided my leaving wouldn't be so quiet after all.

I made sure to follow BidBay's chat guidelines but over here I was able to express myself freely.

And because of that free expression here I was ultimately suspended from my chat privileges.

So I have begun to speak louder...and my voice is being heard.

AG2.

LOL, just a gentle reminder . .your voice is being heard in the basement, remember? Although a new Bidbayer did publically thank many of you there for helping them to find Bidbay.

I really do have to get to work. I hope you find peace with yourself and this situation.

Now that I have answered your question I would like to point out the topic of discussion is if what happend was ethical or legal.

One of the CG's states that we are to address the topic and not the individual.

Your ethics question was addressed at me and my ethics. I ask that you please stick to the topic at hand.

And if you think I'm incorrect I'm sure a moderator will point out the error of either mine or your ways.

Thanks,
AG2

mrfanini...your limo?

You stated to me in email that you donated the limo you won from BidBay to your church for a fund raiser.

Wow what a bombshell.

AG2,
Geeze man...if you're gonna talk about me at least use my name! I could use the attention! When I posted the "get the itch" line it was a joke! Why is it that you are the only one who doesn't get it? GT won't send me anything nor was I even asking for anything either. While you're at it..keep your eyes peeled on the winners' list...you will never see my sn on it. Besides, what can the FTC do? Considering that no laws were broken and since the Billys are not considered a "contest" under statute they have no power and you are wasting you time. My God man....try something productive with your time!

I believe it was about if something ,like maybe fixing contests by bidbay was legal or ethical. We should know by now that you cannot use those three words together......
legal, ethical, and bidbay!
They are over there having thier little koolaide party, trying to act up and normal. I bet you the emails are flying between them. Two faced is not the word. The empire shall crumble the minute they start charging and no sales. Already a lot of the yahoo drifters have pulled out because of no sales. I cannot wait to see this!!
They bought their own format business like AW. I wonder why they don't use it and stay out of the basement?
What was it called? Auctionbrief? That must mean because they will be doing auctions briefly. LOLLOLLOLLOLLOL
They are a play money, chat room, contest board and that is that!!!
