I posted a very short message like the one below as a courtesy to former yahoo sellers who migrated there and use feedbacksite to import feedback. The message contained no links to yahoo. Only a offer to contact me if details are needed. I wake up this morning and the message is deleted. (shaking me head). I give up. They want their sellers to live in an airtight bubble with no contact to the outside world. It is sad. That also means the outside world will never come in.

Welcome to the darkside ballsandstrikes...LOL
j/k
Actually welcome to the lightside. Because as we all know light exposes the dark truths and you are quickly finding them for yourself.
When eBay decided to have a feedback jam session a couple of months back I figured alot of sellers there who were also eBay sellers would like to know and participate in making the eBay feedback system better.
I got slammed by a couple of members stating that BidBay had enough of it's own problems.
So when the eBay free listing day came around, do you think I shared that with them...heck no.
I wonder what their favorite flavor of koolaid is?

Lol. Well they posted an answer saying I violated rules by "directing" people to other auction sites. Actually, I DIRECTED them to ME for an explaination. I posted no links, no cut and pastes no nothing! Oh well. I feel sorry for the good people there.

Ballsandstrikes.
Talk about hipocracy.
BidBay wants you to host your images from other auction sites with them so they get the publicity. Yet they do not want you to mention other sites. Typical......

I am roaring out laughing. Some clown over there on the chat board was bragging that he had over 1300 yahoo feedbacks and bugged out when they "started charging!" (Imagine) He is sooooooooo happy at bidbay because out of two pages of listings he has one crummy bid of a few bucks!! LOL Do these people REALLY know what actual sales ARE??? This is better than Saturday Night Live!!!

Good point snoop doggy! They encourage you to plaster their name all over other sites, but hang you on th nearest branch if you so much as mention any of the names of thes ites that they want you to spam.

Ballsandstrikes,
Try posting that same message on a ebay board. Chances are you will find when you wake up "Not A Registered User" beside your name.

Coolvette, you don't have to tell me about Ebay! lol they banned me for suggesting on their boards that the deadbeat buyer be charged my listing fee and not me! I have of course re-registered but I will NEVER sell there again

I have seen many discussions on the eBay soapbox in wake of the Yahoo fee debacle where epier has been mentioned along with a number of other sites.
No one was naru'd. some of the posts were removed others remained.
They didn't mind the discussions of the sites but when people actively were suggesting that they go there to list to boycott yahoo and ebay then those posts were removed.
Some of them were made by well known posters and they are still there.
The fact is though there are more things at BidBay to worry about regarding the censorship issue than this.
I'm not so concerned about censorship by the staff, because in most cases the reason posts are pulled their is because it gets out of hand. And usually the ones who get out of hand are the koolaid kids goose stepping to the beat of their one drummer while verbally pummelling anyone who speaks an opinion about BidBay that differs than theirs.
BidBay is the perfect example of an Orwellian nightmare with their newspeak, censorship, and blind followers.

Auctiongallery2:
I hope you post here when Ebay is doing another free day! I wish I wouldn't have missed it.
Bidbay is the laughing stock next to Yahoo (of course) and both have egg on their face!
I have had items listed on Bidbay and read the chats (or should I say cheers) and they are all so phony (acting like teenage girls all giggling and such) only they think their positve, upbeat personalities will replace the money they are missing by listing on a site that is not built on deception.
Rah, Rah REEE, Kick 'em in the knee...

Hello Everyone,
Please keep discussion to auction related issues and not other message board related issues.
This forum is becoming Bidbay heavy again and I won't hesitate in locking up inappropriate threads.
Thanks for your cooperation,

Just visited the chat board and one of the techs has been working on adding new types of smiley faces to the chat board.
I guess this is one of those items on the list that was taken to BidBay.
This company truly has no direction.
Too busy wasting time and energy on spur of the moment ideas like this instead of getting categories cleared up like people asked etc.

reo2001,
I would just like to point out that the person who posted that on the message board under just one of her id's she is responsible for over 550,000 of those items.
What they were touting is not hits, but items listed on Bidbay.

I'm sorry Joice but it is an auction related issue.
Someone claimed they officially gave up on BidBay and people are listing their reasons why.
I am just using what I read over there as yet another reason to give up on BidBay.
I am not just discussing what was said on their message board, but how they are running their company.
And by that instead of focusing on important isssues like cleaning up categories they are working on adding smiley faces to their chat board.
I don't know if your post was directed towards me or not, but if you read the entire post I made you will see the point I made about the categories.
Thanks,
AG2

After all the fuss that everyone is making about bidbay I checked them out. Not bad and thank you for the referral I wasn't aware they existed.
I saw the smilies, and I saw them here as well as auctiondiner.com.
Thank you
