How many who belong to Epier, or other free sites, think they will stay free forever??

I for one don't care if it does or not. I joined Epier for other reasons. Namely the attitude of the #1 auction site. They treat their customers like cat litter. Have stopped the free flow of information between users by eliminating our ablity to email each other. They are supposedly worried about us getting to much "Spam" mail. They monitor the boards, and if you even mention the name of any other site, your post is pulled. They now send the users who pay out the ying yang, to other sites by having banner ads pop up when you do a search, sending you off site to places like half.com which they own. Do not answer emails in a timely manner. Site instability. To many categorties. Do nothing about retaliatory negative feedback. Need I go on?? I moved to Epier to have freedom. If Mr.Kim does start charging a small fee, it would be well worth it, if he can continue to offer the customer support that is now available. As the site grows, a fee might be in order. For now, I believe it should remain free, but forever is a long time. JMHO!!!!

What customer service??? where do I find it? I really like epier but when I send them emails for help, I never get a response. Is there somewhere on epier where I can find this customer service! Please dont ask me to use their online forum for assistance as it doesnt work. I have emailed them numerous times for help with it and have yet to receive a response!

If you go to the chat board, and then click at the top to the Tech Support link, there are people who will help you with your problems right online. I sent an email, and got a response the same day?? Did you mail your email to [email protected]?? You might want to try emailing them instead of support. They are adding new staff to help with the increased traffic to their site. I know it does seem like it takes forever sometimes. I'm not making excuses, but I can tell you after being on Ebay for 3 years, and they make billions, you will NOT ever get a reply, other then a canned response, and it usually takes about 7 days after you needed the help. If there are any questions I can help you with, feel free to ask me. Good Luck!! My user ID on Epier is Brighteyes, and on Ebay it is Brighteyes41

You must have gone to the Live Chatboard which if you log in first, you can't post on it. Its a bug they are working on. Not many post on that board anyway! Here is the link to the chat area that we all frequent. < a href=http://www.epier.com/Forum_New.asp?13,0>Epier Chat</a>

Thanks very much jcsjcm! why in the heck didnt they email me about this! I was able to log on once and post there, that was about 4 weeks ago. since then, I have been emailing them constantly about it. ONCE, only once did I EVER receive a reply from them, and that was, we will check out your user name and password! I have emailed them since by responding to that email and follow up emails have not recieved a reply! This is one of the BIG reasons I have listed most of my items on Bidville. Atleast they do respond to emails! If they have a bug or whatever they are working on, they let me know! Not happy here because I would like to use epier for more of my items and I am holding back due to this problem!

Sorry Paloma91,
I'll try again! Its hard to figure out all the different boards and how they react to html. How about if I just place it here with a cut and paste. If you can't click on it, then you can cut and paste it into your browser.

We do need voices over there. Many users seem to receive answers within hours of a question. Others never get a reply. I don't understand this, but I know they are telling the truth. I haven't had to ask any questions yet, but I am going to request that they start informing us on what they are doing to improve the site. An update once a week would even be appreciated.

Another thing (oops) if you are using Web TV, they have a problem with viewing our website. This is a bug with Web TV itself and not epiers fault. I've heard that Web TV is working on this glitch. Hopefully you are not using this. Hope to see you!

Thanks again, jcsjcm! I really appreciate your help. And YES they really need to address these issues. Dont worry, I am on a dial up ISP. I dont use web tv. You also might want to point them to:

You know if they just kept people like me in the light instead of the dark, they would really be up higher on the list from where they are now!
