Even the cops are getting into the act - unclaimed evidence put up for sale - and if you can prove something you see is yours, they'll StealItBack for you for free...

Reminds me of the time when my bike was stolen, and it had a bike licence sticker on it from the police dept. to identfy the owner if it's stolen. I go to the police bike auction and find my bike there ready to be auctioned off, went up to the seargent and said that is my bike and he looks at me like I'm full of it. He looked up the registration and realized it was mine. Cops are crooks.
