I've had a problem lately at MSN auctions with someone bidding for all of my dutch auction items at a high price and then not following through with the sale...It cost me over $40 in final value fees last week alone...I'm going through the process of asking for a credit from the auction site...Now, I've just found that it's happening again to one of my current auctions...It's not only a loss of money in unnecessary fees, but the people who honestly bid for one or two items are being listed as losers and therefore can't buy my item... Is there anyway at MSN/Fairmarket sites to cancel a bidder who is so obviously bogus? Fairmarket doesn't seem to make it easy to deal with "situations" that affect sellers...Thanks...

I tried out MSN/Fairmarket right after Yahoo announced their listing fees and was not impressed with them at all. Hopefully someone who still uses them for their listings will be able to help you.

We had problems even logging in with Lycos. After a few weeks we gave up on Fair Market. No response, or rather canned responses to all our inquiries and their auctions are a playground for non-payers.

I wrote e-mails to Fairmarket several times complaining that they don't have a blacklist feature and I get the same canned response saying rate the buyer negative which wouldn't even solve the problem.
