I really am trying to be nicer....really. BUT today March 23, GT is asking what fees should be assessed. It was posted several weeks ago, that in 2 weeks the fees would be announced. These fees are supposed to be in effect on APRIL 1. Does he not know, yet? Then there is AG2 who has already stated that BidBay was going to hold off on the FVF, yet GT is asking people for their opinion on FVF. When is this going to be announced? And will it stand, or will it be changed again?
I am awaiting listing anything until I know what the fees are.
Another thing, although I am sure my opinion is not valued much....Most on the chat board at BidBay don't think that BBB's should have any fees. Is that really fair? I think it is a bogus catagory that brings the site down to a Dollar General Store feeling.
This is JMHO and I am trying to ask questions, that would get appropriate answers. Thank you.

Deichen you bring up very valid points.
One reason why I didn't want to...and now shouldn't have even mentioned the conversation with George is because nothing was set in stone and I am not their company spokesman.
I think George is just trying to feel everyone out and in the end I believe he will make most users happy.
Regarding the BBB's. I brought this up when I was visiting. I suggested that there should be a FVF for the BidBay Bucks Category but it would be paid for in BidBay Bucks.
This would work and is feasible. You get 5 BidBay Bucks when you join. If you sell something in that category you will earn more BBB's so any small FVF will be covered.
I feel this would help in getting some of the BBB's out of circulation therefore increasing their value which would decrease the cheapening effect that they have.
If they could ever get them to the point that they are at the very least at a 2:1 ratio...2 BBB's worth $1.00 then I believe that would enhance the site. The BBB's would become an enhancement instead of a detriment in some cases. (Edited to Add) The BBB's is a very popular concept at BidBay, and it is a big drawing point for some newbies joining the site...so I think any improvements in this category will only increase the buyer base at BidBay
Once again you have to give these people credit for making these changes, or at least attempting to. I see some very positive changes coming about. If BidBay continues in this direction and people like you continue to work within a constructive criticism frame of mind working toward a positive goal then we will have helped develop that viable alternative to the other mainstream sites.

Thank you, AG2!
I am sure he is trying to please people and not pull a Yahoo, but it seems indecisive (spelling) to me. Everyone needs a Final answer on the fee structure.

LOL they just cant make up their mind. Bidbay loves playing games no madder what they do when they start charging they will loss a percentage of their sellers what they charge will determine what percentage. Good luck bidbay. If they get tough and charge alot it will be a ghosttown like that other site oh I remember BooHoo.

I just had a good laugh. I wandered to BidBay for some unknown reason. On the home page is a list of their "HOT" auctions.
Guess how many bids the "Hot" auctions have. Three! That's right - 3.
