bb never ceases to amaze me. With the in-fighting that goes on there, they now have the bb 'Millionaires' bashing California, where by the way they have their main offices. Because, supposedly their online auction commercials run only here (we have yet to see one of them on TV). Now California is not good enough!
Eluding to the fact that all citizens of this state use drugs is malicious (and libelous). California passed a law a couple years ago that said for medical reasons marijuana could be prescribed by a MD. It is only a State law, and it is still against the Federal Law. We have a wide group of friends and acquaintances, and we know not one person that grows one pot plant, much less 25. We do not use drugs, it is our personal choice, but if someone is in the final stages of cancer and it will ease their pain than I am all for it. Losers use drugs, and yes, they are everywhere, not just in California....probably in the mid-west where the Government (DEA) has the most trouble other than outside our Country.
$100,000 a year to be middle class might be a bit low....and not everyone drives a Porsche, Some folks drive Beemer's and Benz's. Porsche's are great, but most folks are on the 'SUV' roadways these days (even Californian's have children they drive to soccer practice, little league, cheerleading, drama classes, dance classes, voice lessons, writing classes, school, and our esoteric churches). I looked up some things for middle America, and in most states in the mid-west there are groups (Larger groups than California) trying to legalize drugs - here is one for Minnesota - http://www.normlmn.org/ They have them for every state in the union, and you can get your state from this site I think.. I wonder what makes folks think cause they live in a trailer in the mid-west, and some live at the beach in California they are better than most.

I have to stick up for a state that is so giving of itself in so many ways. Strawberry Capital of the US.

There are festivals for every ethnic group possible. And I want to mention that Ronald Reagan Library is in Yorba Linda, California (whether I like it or not).
I live in California. I was born and raised here. I have lived in a few other states along life's highway, but always return.
A lot of Californian's don't think 'Beef's For Dinner' anymore, as they are aware of cholesterol problems. We are probably the most healthy citizens. We jog, run, work-out, roller blade, bicycle, skateboard, surf, water ski, snorkel, and dive. We also play tennis, squash, rugby, and football. We eat healthy foods because we know it's good for our bodies. we even have Oxygen Bars http://www.oxygen4u.com/ instead of Liquor bars.....no good-ole boys fighting, but hey that's OK with us.
We might be a little different here in California, but we have families, mortgages, pets, bills, and problems just like everyone else. Some people have tornado's, nor-easters, flooding etc. We have earthquakes, and flooding too.......We worry about houses slipping down mountainsides.
But, I bet we are healthier, tanner, trimmer, and more energetic than the rest of the Country.
Stupidity and ignorance say that South Central LA is a ghetto. Being Proactive instead of Reactive there are several organizations in South Central that are helping that community overcome difficulties they are having, and they were interested in these thoughts. http://www.legal-aid.com/ http://www.sclarc.org/
.......So many people make up the culture of America. So many people on auction sites make up the culture of the site, White's, African American's, Hispanic, Asian's, Lebanese, Mid Eastern Peoples..........etc. etc. We should all be a little more tolerant about people before we make a judgment....you just might be talking to someone different than you.
Hate a State...what is next? It has to STOP somewhere. So in wrapping up this topic....it is really wrong for bb to bash California....a lot of online traders live here, and we love it.

bb is Bashing California on one of there 'millionaire' threads, and I live here....I love it here, and I am defending the State...that's all.

Thought you might like a ocean view of Mendicino County in California (Real Time- Ocean View). A not so small County. which is very expensive, especially if you want to live there. Up the coast from San Francisco it offers such beauty, and so many wineries....A fun weekend get away (well for us that live in California).

Just as the member in question made generalizations that you found offensive, your generalizations of bidbay are no better.
Because you don't agree with the opinions of one person doesn't mean everyone there is bashing California. Many of the millionaires so to speak are Californians also and I'm sure wouldn't agree with the naivety of the post to which you are referring.
All Californians aren't the same, all Auctionwatch people aren't the same, all Bidbay people aren't the same.
