Try www.ePier.com I have already gotten bids the first day listing! The categories created last week are already taking off with lots of bids, check it out Collectibles > Military Memorabilia > Militaria: WW II (1939-45)

Oh well, sorry about that, the link didn't work for me. Anyway, just go look at the ex-bayers that are listing their items and GETTING BIDS! That's the most important thing! Maybe not everything is getting bids over there but from what I can see, that category is booming!!! Well worth the look compared to the alternatives I've tried for these types of items. The best part is, NO FEES! I actually get to keep money in my pocket...lol

Thanks for the suggestion but I already tried them and had NO luck! I am having very good luck at the epier site and have already sold 3 items from off auction buyers....thanks to the exposure I got ther. I have also gotten bids within the very first 24 hours so thanks for the suggestion but I am going to stick with the epier for a while and see if it continues growing as fast as it already has. I have watched the listings grow over 1100 in 3 days so I think I will stay where it is free for now as long as I'm making money!

I keep an eye on this type of stuff for my newsletter and you both make excellent points. From what I can tell, both sites are doing fairly well with those listings.

I was really amazed to see what those auctions are doing at ePier because nearly everything else on the site is sitting there.

I think the most important thing for a seller is simply to find a place where their merchandise will sell. What may be good for one isn't always so good for another.

Hello wallypog!

Valid points indeed.

It will be very interesting to see how this all settles out.

I really do not think that there will be a concensus on a single auction site. With eBays recent actions, those days are gone. Sellers and buyers will probably settle down to several militaria auction sites.

The thrill and excitement of the hunting, buying and selling is not over. It is simply in a holding pattern and will simply shift to other Niche or Vertical specialized Auction sites.

Each site from what I have seen has its strengths and weakness. Make it a point to visit the sites and make your own decision. In my book, market share is a factor. And it takes time to build and develop and hold market share.

I heard a white supremacist started a site for nazi memorabilia. Anyone heard anything on that?

tolz>> First off, ePier is not MY site! I have never sold there before now, but I have not had any problems and am off to a great start there. Since you are able to sell 85% on YOUR site, then you need to stay there and pay your fees. I have found the ePier site a perfect alternative for me right now and I am going to enjoy keeping those extra hundreds of dollars each month on FVF as well as all the listing fees I no longer loose on NBP as well! Since it is free and I am selling, I am happy, so we will just have to agree to disagree on this issue and each sell where we choose! I think a lot of sites will be offering places to sell so bottom line is go where it works best for you!

i don't sell WW2 items but i do believe epier to be an up and coming site!! its good to see a site that doesn't put a ban on legitimate historical items.

personally i have no problem with whatever anyone wants to sell and its a shame that some folks have to be pigheaded about certain items!!
