I found a note about this new auction site on a message board. It's at http://www.farmfrenzy.com
They just opened up last week and have a full scale of categories.
They're a free site, hoping to stay free, with possibly charging for extra features in the future to help cover expenses. Farm Frenzy also has a big promotional going on with http://www.forthefarm.com so are hoping to bring quite a few users to the site through For The Farm.
Nope--not affiliated with the site in any way, just had a nice interview with the site owner and thought I'd help to get the word out.

hmmmmm...just checked them out...maybe its just me but i would never think to look at a site called farm frenzy for anything other than farm stuff...and then again i wouldn't even be looking for farm stuff!!
they really don't have anything listed YET, so i will give them a chance to "grow" and check back...ya never know...with a strange name like that they may turn out great!!

LOL When I first heard of it I was thinking niche site for farmers--farm equipment, supplies and so on. I live in an agricultural belt so this could just be my kind of thing.
Then I wrote to the owner of the site and got the whole scoop on it. They're now in a joint venture with http://www.forthefarm.com which is going to feature them as their official auction site. From what this fellow says, forthefarm has nearly 30,000 users of their own to head toward the new auction site.
Sounded like maybe these folks have their act together already.

IMO only, if they don't want to attract farmers and people interested in farm animals, etc. they need to change the name pronto. I really wouldn't go either because it sounds like they are a niche site. I was going to send a friend who is a cattle farmer there.
