You can check the status of your rocketboard by going to www.rocketboard.com and logging in.

Be warned about TANSTASFL! No, it's not a German disease. It means There Aint No Such Thing As A Free Lunch. Rocketboard is free becuase the Rocketboard software assigns you a code and reports back to Rocketboard every site you visit and every file you download. Then Rocketboard can target you for spam email from their "partners" to whom they sell this information. You can find this buried in small print on Rocketboard's site. So use the keyboard but DONT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE unless you want to be spied on.

My Swiftboard just arrived in the mail today. Hubby will install it for me tomorrow. Hope it's as good as the Rocketboard (he's got that on the other computer).
The buck doesn't even PAUSE here!

Read all the small print that comes with it and all the disclaimers on their site. Can you think of any reason why a company would be giving away free keyboards if not for the chance to get their little trojan horse into your system?

Believe it or not, I received my free keyboard yesterday. Not the best, but I have worked with worse keyboards.

I finally received my Swift Board today. It's nothing fancy but always nice to get free stuff in the mail. However the thought of using their "DRIVER" for the keyboard worries me. I think when I get the time I will try using one of the generic drivers from http://www.btc.com.tw/btc/software/index.html and see if it will work. If anyone try it before me please post back!

Why would you need a driver at all? Most keyboard will work without one. The driver is only for those special keys and they will probably only work with the specific one for that keyboard. I will use the Rocketboard without any drivers.

But then it becomes just a regular keyboard. I hope to find a driver that will let me map the keys myself. I am assuming Swiftboard and Rocketboard dont actually manufacture these keyboards themselves but get them from OEM maker.
