I told you back in July Paypal was gong to start charging fees, then I told you more fees are coming! from everywhere. Now that they (Paypal) has just re-instated their fees. My guest is Ebay with raise their fees very soon. Ebay is not making money. They are losing sellers every day. That why they are now trying "Buy it Now" this is to get your insert fee as fast as they can. Now here this!!! The next Internet site to insert fees will be the very site I am writing this on! Yes that's right AUCTIONWATCH.COM. I figure by March, they to will be charging fees to house your listing.
Then we the sellers will watch the internet auction site slowly died. Here are the fees again. Ebay $.25- $.30 cents Paypal $.30 cents Then Auctionwatch.com $.25 cents.
Total for 1 insert without sale $.50 - $.60 cents - with sale $.80 - $.90 cents. Sounds cheap! Not when your selling $5.00 items!
Anybody know some good web site builders. I rather paid $25-40 a month to someone to host my site, then slowly keep paying these CEO's.

I get most of my sales through my web site. Lots of people find my auctions and then go from there to my site and buy direct. Lots of repeat customers. I pay $10 a month for the site which includes the domain name registration. I get 50 megs of storage plus unlimited email IDs which I can have forwarded to any other email IDs. My site was set up by a consulting firm that specializes is setting up small business. They are very responsive, including testing my site from time to time and sending me email just to let me know they're on top of things (and sometimes pointing out mistakes I made).
