I HATE PAYPAL!. I cannot tell you how much I detest this company. I
refused to verify with a bank account because I did not feel that it was
secure. This was about three months ago.
Now, I log in and see that my account has been restricted. Why, I wonder.
Well, according to their handy webpage it is for "administrative reasons."
Whatever that means.
So, I call them, on their long distance number and am on hold for 45
minutes. AGGHH. the lady says, "oh, I'm sorry, but we don't have any
information about that. You'll have to e-mail them."
So, I do. Six days later they e-mail back requesting, get this, that I
fax (I don't have a fax machine!!), a copy of my driver's license, utility
bill, credit card statement, and a bank statement. Heck no.
I wouldn't mind but I have $150 sitting in there that I CAN'T GET TO.
So, what the heck do I do? Does anyone have a decent phone number
where I have a chance of talking to somoen with more than 2 brain
cells? A good e-mail address? Anything??
If you do have money sitting in there I would strongly advise taking it out.
There is no way of knowing when they will decide to do this to you.

I've got a phone number which took me only 20 Minutes to get a guy named Bob.

My impression was he had more than 2 brain cells, but anyway he could not help me. My account is still restricted.
