I have been one of the few holdouts. I had not had any "real" problems with Paypal, other than the fact that they have been promising for God only knows how long ATM/debit cards and checkbooks to access our balances more easily and they have never provided. Now I actually have a problem. At the time I registered my credit card, I was using a PO box. I registered with Paypal using my street address, and have always had my purchases sent to my street address. But the PO box was listed as the billing address for my credit card at the time. I discontinued the PO box shortly afterwards. Now I went to send money, and they are showing the PO Box as my mailing address of where the merchandise should be sent. And it won't let me change the address because my credit card doesn't have some three digit code! HELLOOOOOOOOO...Who told you to change my address in the first place???? I have always used my street address at Paypal, so you have no right to change it without my request!!!!!!!! I guess this is the end of me and Paypal! See ya!

Did you notify the credit card company of your address change? How do you get your monthly statements?

Yes, the address was changed with my credit card company a month BEFORE I dropped the PO Box. I don't know where Paypal got the PO Box. I e-mailed Paypal once, and got 6 replies, which all tell me that this is for my protection, that all I have to do to remove the PO Box is to change the credit card billing address. However, I have to have a three digit code on the back of my credit card to do this, and mine doesn't. The only other way to remove the PO Box is to delete the credit card from Paypal's system, but if I do that, I can't put it back later. In other words, I can never use the credit card again at Paypal. Exactly how is it for my protection to change my address without asking and not allow me to fix it?
