Hey guys, I have been waiting VERY patiently for my refund from Paypal. I filled out a buyer protection claim on Dec 5th. I waited and waited for a reply to it...nothing. So I decided to send it again. Nothing. Here it is one month after I first sent it, and I havent heard back from them. Then I come to this board and hear about everyone filling out an affidavit, and faxing it to them. I never received one email from Paypal..other than there automated replys saying someone will be in contact with me shortly. What a bunch of bull!

Today I called Paypal, (mind you its not a nice 1-800 number for personal acounts.) So I wait on hold for like a half hour..then when I finnally get someone on the phone, I ask about the status of my buyer protection claim. The woman says they have NO record of me filling a claim! I sent it 3 times to them! She tells me to hold, and comes back saying that they found it, and someone is working on it as we speak. Yeah RIGHT!

I am SO fed up with this! This will be my last time EVER using Paypal. I urge all of you to serious consider what may happen if you get screwed when using paypal. The woman from paypal did tell me not to worry, I will get my money back...but come on! I filled out my fraud form, my buyer protection form, and even the form on the Fountain Valley police website.
So much for there verified user protection.

Sorry for venting so much. This has just got me vey PO'd!

Did you check you credit card bill??---lots of people reporting the refund has been directly credited to their credit card.

Jay - chill out, I understand your frustration, and rightly so, but what you want to do is go to the fountainvalley.org website and get the letter of declaration that Det. Freeman has posted on his website from paypal. Get this, sign it, and fax it to them. I and others have received our refunds within days after faxing this letter to them. Also check the other gametek thread, it is more active and has alot of good information.

Hi dunebuggyjay,

Please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. Are you saying that you have not received the affidavit? If so, I can probably email you a copy.
