Are there other Payment Gateway Services that can be used with Vendio Checkout. We have a merchant account with Authorize.net
At this time, Vendio does not provide credit card processing services. We do not collect or store credit card information from your buyers for use in checkout. Our checkout system allows direct credit card payments if you have a merchant bank account and you are a Verisign (Payflow Pro) subscriber. You can also use Paypal to accept credit card payments as your buyers check out. If you use Propay and you enter your Propay ID on our site, we will notify you when a buyer checks out to let you know you need to send and invoice.
If you are not a Verisign subscriber and you do not use Paypal or Propay, but you would like to accept credit card payments, you would need an external system for this. Some of our customers process credit card payments over the phone, and simply provide directions on how to make the payment in checkout. Others have a secure webform or an external shopping cart that can be hyperlinked in the checkout instructions.
We are currently evaluating the implementation of alternative credit card processing methods, including authorize.net and Paypal Website Payments Pro. We hope to be able to provide some better alternatives for you in the near future.
