I'm using 3.1, haven't had problems until today. When I try to upload, I get almost through the synching process, to the part where it says preferences are identical, then the program freezes up. I have rebooted, yelled at it, offered it a Coke, everything I can think of. Please help.

Hello come2reven,

Do you have any other software/programs running while you are using Auction Manager Pro?

Anna- The usual stuff. Should I try shutting down as much as possible? Good idea, I'll give it a try and let you know.

Well that didn't work. Shut down as much as I could, wound up getting invalid page faults. I'm back to the synch making it up to comparing preferences, then the software freezes. I'm using 3.1. Could the size of the batch have anything to do with it? It's big, but I've loaded big ones before.

I too am freezing while synching. Had to reboot and then got the invalid page default. Also got a message to check the message boards for any announcement.

My batch was not large, I was just trying to synch one pic. This happend within 15 minutes of this message.

Help I have listings to upload tonight.

Hello Bill,

How many items are contained in your batch? Could you kindly click on the details link when you go through the synchronization process and then copy the contents of this until it gives you the invalid page faults error?

Thanks!

No can do Anna. I got my images uploaded, but whenever I try to upload the whole batch, it makes it until it says preferences are identical then freezes up. I can't copy anything, close anything, have to use ctrl-alt-del to close the program.

Hello Bill,

I've forwarded this to engineering so that they can check and make sure it's not a server problem.

Again, how many items do you have in your batch? Have you tried breaking them into smaller batches?

Anna- Well, finally got them uploaded. About 4 hours late, but better late than never. I broke them into smaller batches. There were 54 of them. But is this a problem? Is there a limit we should not exceed?

Anna,

With all due respect, when you forward this issue to Engineering please note that it is not always a batch issue.

As I stated in my posting I was just trying to sync to upload one additional picture.

Thanks,

Hi, I'm having the same problems and I've tried all the solutions suggested here. I can just click on one of my pics to create a listing and it will freeze. It even froze up as the program was loading. I can't even get to synch!! HELP!! I need to get some stuff listed, like today, and would really like to use the program.

Hello,

come2reven -- glad to hear you got your batch uploaded! There isn't a specified limit as to how many items you can have in a batch. However if you run into problems like this, if you break down your batch into smaller batches it can help speed up the uploading time for your items.

Skyesearcher and Niksmom -- as soon as I receive an update from engineering, I will post in this thread. Thank you for your patience.
