I am trying to manualy move my web invetory over to AM Pro and it will not let me paste as big of a description as Auction Manager does. As a matter of fact I am copying a description for the Auction Manager on the web to the AM pro and it is to long for the AM pro. Does this mean I can not use my descriptions on AM Pro.

Hello ecomputeremporium,
If there is a limit to the number of characters in the description field, it's based on venue restrictions. When you are trying to paste the descriptions in, are you copying it directly from the description fields in Auction Manager, using the Inventory Importer in AM Pro, or are you pasting it from a web page? (If the latter, you could be trying to paste additional html.)
If you are pasting the description directly from Auction Manager, can you let us know which specific auctions you are having trouble with, so that we can test from here?

I only use Ebay. My last post said that I am copying it from the description field in the invetory section on the on Auction Manager on the Web to the description field in Invetory section on Auction Manager Pro. If you go and ask the tech guys I am sure they will tell you that the description text box on AM Pro has some sort of limit. The description text box on AM Web does not have a limit or it is very large. My question is can they increase the limit on the description field in the invetory section on AM Pro. If you log onto my account in AM for the web and copy the description field from the invetory item that is selling the Epson 1280 printer and try to set up the same exact invetory itme in AM Pro you will find you can not just copy and paste the description unless you only copy part of it.

I have tested this from my computer, using the Epson 1280 printer description, and I was able to copy/paste the entire description into the description field of AM Pro.
I am not sure why you're running into this problem - can you tell us which version of AM Pro you are using, and what screen resolution/font size you are using? I think there must be a setting that is interfering with your ability to paste the descriptions.
