I have just downloaded AW Pro and would love to start using the automated email feature but I have a question about WBNs. I ship all sorts of items with weights ranging from a few ounces to 50 - 60 lbs. I ship everything through USPS Priority Mail and cannot figure auctual shipping prices until I receive the buyers zip code since the PO charges based on distance from my location. I presently manually send out my first WBN in which I request the buyers address and zip then after I get a reply I send out the total due with shipping. Is there any way to do this with the automated WBNs without having figure the cost of shipping up front??? It seems the only way around this is to set a fixed shipping rate and frankly that often turns people off. I have a reputation of charging only exact, actual shipping and would like to keep it.

Hi Mgt830,
Unfortunately, if you use the auto-WBN you will need to have a set shipping option. If you would like to calculate exact shipping, the best way is to manually send the WBN.

How about passing this along to the programmers as an item for the wishlist. It would be simple to have the choice of adding one more email. You could choose to send it like it is now if you already know shipping or choose to send it in two parts like I've been doing. I'm sure that I am not the only one with this problem. This becomes very important when a heavy item could have a shipping difference of up to $8-$10 between a close location and a distant one.
I've been sending them manually for a long time. It is just so time consuming to do this every Sunday night when you are running between 10 and 40 auctions which all end at the same time.

Just a little suggestion. I write a "global" WBN for all bidders. In it, I explain that I need their shipping address to calculate exact postage costs. I also thank them for their high bid, and let them know what my payment terms are, and my payment "snail mail" address.
I then let AW send this out immediately at end of auction - then correspond with bidders when the furnish me their address.
