PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE fix this totally unprofessional and disgusting MESS!!!! I am SICK and TIRED of people emailing me to say that they have been contacted VERY, VERY late by Auctionwatch for an item that in many cases they have already paid for and in some cases even already possess!!! This is because it sometimes take SEVERAL DAYS for folks to be notified of their winning bid!!! It really seems to be a problem with BUY IT NOW auctions. This problem has been going on long enough and it should be addressed. Please address it!!!!!!!

Same here. My notifications just went out this moment 0630 10/4/01 for auctions that ended @ 2200 9/30/01.
I had to manually contact the buyers which is fine if I was not paying for a service to do it for me. Anyway I sure there is a good reason and it will be handled in a professional manner.
Peace
Andy

Hi everyone,
As you may not have known, there was some site slowness on Sunday 9/30 which caused WBNs to go out late or not go out at all. A couple days later there was a site outage related to problems on eBay's end and when they were resolved, problems on our end as well which lasted until yesterday morning. To isolate AuctionWatch from problems due to eBay web site changes in the future, we have incorporated the eBay API into our auction launching functionality and will be incorporating the remainder of the API in coming days. We do not expect any disruption in service when we implement other API components and there will be no user interface changes. The API allows us to send and receive data from eBay through a direct interface rather than using their public web site interface. API utilization will increase the stability of our services.
We appreciate your business and are working hard to continuously improve the stability and functionality of our services. If you have additional questions, please let us know.

Sonya,
This problem has been ongoing for SEVERAL weeks now. It seems that your software does not recognize that an auction is over with BUY IT NOW winners. It seems that these winners are only notified on the date that the auction was originally scheduled to end which of course is often LONG after it's conclusion. This is embarissing for me, an annoyance for them, and clearly unprofessional. Please look at this issue for what it is and resolve it.
