I listed a batch of 20 auctions last evening. Just now, while checking them on MY Ebay, I saw that one item was listed twice under seperate ID numbers. The item, Pair of Religious Pictures and Crucifix, was showing up as both item 1016223626 and 1016219954. It looks as though only 1016223626 is appearing on the Active Listing in AW, so I just ended the other auction early. I am about to check and see if anything else like this happened with last night's batch.
Normally I would suspect I just screwed up and duplicated one of the batch items, if it were not for the fact that only one of the two listings showed up on AW as active.

I have checked the batch from last night and this item is only in the batch file once - yet it posted on eBay twice! First time I have ever had anything like this happen...

Christopher.
As near as I can see:
The items from that batch all posted between 21:00:03 and 21:13:23. The one that did NOT show up originally in AW (and the one I canceled early) posted at 21:03:04 and the one that DID show up on AW and is still listed (item 1016223626) posted at 21:13:23.
As far as I know this is the first time this has ever happend in the thousands of items I have listed.

OK...now this is getting scary.
Last night I relisted a dozen or so auction. I did this from the post sale, unsold items section. I selected the items I wanted to relist and relisted them as a group to all launch at 9:15pm PST.
This morning, one of the relisted items appears TWICE on Ebay (as item 1649374466 and 1649376112). However, as in the case above, ONLY 1649376112 shows up on my AW Active Auctions list. I will wait for a few hours before I cancel one of the two so you guys can check it out for yourself. One listed at 21:17:41 and the other at 21:23:39.
As noted, this is the second time this has happened in the last week. HELP!!!

Hi Jaymark9,
Our engineers are looking into this. It may have been a transient error. You can now delete the duplicate auction.
In order to end the auction early, you must go directly to eBay and use the "End My Auction Early" feature located under Services -> Buying and Selling.

This happened to me too. Just checked my AuctionWatch bill and saw that I had some fee for Image Hosting...I am on Standard plan and don't pay additional for images. So inquired and was told that I either relisted from EBAY or someone stole my image....Actually, NOT either. The item is double listed. Now I have extra ebay and auctionwatch fees. Will see if I can get a refund. Keep me posted on how you others fare, OK? Thanks! Baylor45

Not that this helps much, but to somewhat close the loop on this "abnormality" - I have not had the problem since or before these isolated instances. It's way too much hassle to try to get refunds from either eBay or AW, so I'm chalking it up as a freak thing and just watching to see if it ever happens again.
