I recently uploaded and ran many auctions with AMPro, they are running well with £ signs in but when I check the ads I wrote and uploaded there are no £signs present[spaces where they were[. This is also true of new ads I am writing through AM whilst online. Wil lthe £ signs be there when auctions launch or not?

I probably explained it wrongly. Look at the pending and inventory items I have . When I was writing them I know I typed £ but it was only today when I was saving them that I realised the £ sign was missing from all "unstarted" auctions.
I nads I list shipping withing UK and also US; the problem is with UK ones-numerals still there but £ signs not appearing in front of them - they show up when I type but when I check back after saving they have gone.

I tried testing this, and no matter how I saved it, or which account used to test it with, the £ symbol remained in the listing.
If you do not see them in your preview, they will not show up in the auction once live. Try unscheduling one of your currently scheduled items to verify this £ symbol still appears in your actual text, if it does it should go live to eBay that way also.

Hell oChris, what you said works but it does not work in inventory. I have written up quite a few adds in inv. without the £ sign remaining once it save. I do not want to have to go through every auction when launched from there just so that I can insert £ signs; it is beginning to take me longer to launch auctions now because of errors than before I "payed" for the service AW claimed to provide. Sorry to take this out on you but it's infuriating to spend hours writing the ads only for them to require going through again.
Please tyy teh inventory £ and see if you can come up with a solution.
Thanks.

Any chance of getting this answered today or is that hoping too much - from initial good impression of the Customer Service and AW as a whole I am rapidly been forced to open my eyes to al lits faults. I will make sure to give a realistic users impression to fellow sellers I know who have been considering signing up. I would usually apologise for the sarcasm but why should I, no-one apolgises for the poor service and at least my sarcasm is free!!

Hi Swagman,
I am not able to replicate the problem with the £ Symbol. I can create and save items in inventory without any difficulty. Is the problem occuring when you try to launch the item or simply creating and saving the item?

It "was" happening when I was creating and saving or altering inventory items and saving; I tried it dozens of times with no effect over a # of days. Now it's working!!!
