I’ve been running Sellers Assistant Pro for about 4 months. Average # listings 200 per week. SAPRO is neat but has been unstable and there is no real inventory control system. Could someone answer a few questions about AM Pro and Business Edition?
1) Will it function on a network running Windows 2000 Small Business Server?
2) If it will function on a network, is there any file protection to prevent the same file from being manipulated by 2 clients at the same time.
3) Is there some kind of synchronization or update feature that keeps the shared database up to date when multiple users are making entries?
4) If the program will not support multiple users on a network performing the same task, will it at least allow one user to create listings while another user is performing checkout, payment, or invoicing functions at the same time.
5) On SAPRO, if you have an error while uploading, all automatic loading features are terminated and none of your products list. When uploading to your server, does your server screen for any possible mistakes that might prevent batch loading to ebay. If a mistake in one of my listings made it with the rest of my listings to your server, would the listing with the mistake not load or would all the listings in the batch not load.
6) Do I always have access to my database? By that I mean can I continually refresh my database through your system that I keep on my desktop or do I need to access my database from your server?

Hi Bamaelect,
The database is stored on your computer. It is not on our servers. You can synchronize your inventory with the online version but you cannot synchronize back to the offline version. You can have one person listing the auctions and another tracking the post sale system if you would like since the post sale is handled online. and can be managed from any computer.
