Hello, I have been trying to load and install Ampro for a few days now. I use to have 2.75 and never upgraded. After recent crash my computer was stripped down and I have been trying to get latest version of ampro to work. When I click the icon on my desktop the registration wizard always comes up. I click cancel to that as I have already registered several times. I get into the program and all looks fine. I am prompted to synchronize and I click yes. No synchonization occurs and New Batch 1 page comes up. To see if I would be able to list I click new listing, click ebay as the sight then the program is shut down for preforming an illeagle action. What could be missing or wrong with my computer that would cause this program not to work? I have a 333mg computer, windows 98, netscape 4.7.
Please help. This is day 4 of trying to get tech support. I have been with your service since just about the beginning.
Thank you for looking into this matter.

Hi Dawn10,
Do you have your account information stored in Preferences?

Dear Sonya,
I have been responding to you via email. Sorry. I seem to have preference stored on AW I have not loaded them onto this version of AMpro. I have launched 4 auctions thru AW and my preferances came through.
Anything I can start trying?
Best wishes,
Dawn

Hi Dawn,
In AMPro, click on the Preferences Icon. Go through each section on the left and fill out the information there (your auction site accounts, preferences, etc). Then when you are done click on Apply, then on Ok. Try to sycnrhonize and let me know if it works this time.

Dear Sonya,
I was able to set and synch my preferences. I got an AMpro error message but was able to continue. Still unable to autosynch or list.
Thanks for hanging in with me.

Hi Dawn,
Do you remember what the error message said? Regarding your inability to autosynchronize -- when you click on the AutoSync button what happens? Does the process start at all?

No error message comes up for autosynch. Nothing happens. The error message was for filing my preferances, I was able to continue
setting the preferances.
Thanks and I anxiously await your reply.

Hi Dawn,
Try to uninstall then reinstall AMPro. Let me know if you still have trouble synchronizing after that.

Hi Dawn,
I have deleted your other two posts, in an effort to keep this to one thread so it is easier to keep track of what we are doing.
Please check and make sure that you have enough space on your hard drive. Turn on "Test Mode", restart AMpro and try to synchronize again. If you continue to have trouble, please email the ampro.log file to me at [email protected]. Don't forget to turn of "test mode" after this. In addition to the ampro.log file, please run the attached debug program and send me the resulting file. I will then forward the files to engineering so they can have a look at them.

Dear Sonya,
I did not get the attached debug program. Could you please send it
again. I have plenty of room in my HD.
I have sent my AW program file and the program itself in 2 different
emails. I don't know where test mode you speak of can be found on my
computer. Could you let me know what this would be named and where it could be found.
Thank you dawn
