Hello,

This is the forum where we address issues related to The Auction Manager Pro software.
Please try to post your questions here, and not in the feedback area.

Have you been using the software, and now this started happening? If so, have you recently changed or installed anything on your machine?

I have not changed anything in a week or so. I have been listing using this program for quite some time. I upgraded to aol 7.0 about two or three weeks ago. I updated my Explorer more than a week ago.

Start banner synchronization.
Number of successful auction uploads: 0.
Synchronization failed - General server error
There is a problem with starting the AuctionSync process.
Please check the Announcements page on the AuctionWatch site.

Hi,

Did these errors with Pro start before or after you upgraded AOL and Explorer?

If you have not already done so, try simply restarting your machine. If you have already done that, see if simply clearing your browser cache/temp files helps with this issue. Sometimes simply clearing these files out will take care of this.

If this persists, let us know and I can email you a longer list of things to try.

Cleared cache and restarted. No change. Problem started today. Definately after aol 7.0 update. Explorer update was about a week plus ago. I have done lots of RElaunches ... this MAY be the first time I have done new launches. When I updated explorer it changed lots of settings... fonts, sounds etc. I have Microsoft Exp. 6.0.2600.0000 Version Q306121.
What is next? Diane

Hello,

Perhaps during the recent installing of software, one of the Pro files was damaged and now causing this error.
Try reloading the software, over your current copy - the software will replace any missing files in the process. (any saved batches will remain)

Download 3.5 here.

I have downloaded AW Pro. Installed. Did the suggested shut down... and spent over an hour trying to get the computer to even come up again. Now that I have finally gotten back...AW Pro seems to be synconizing... I lost all my new images (lucky I save them to my computer also)..and all the old images are now downloading. In another 3 hours I will be ready to launch.
Yes, I do consider it good news!

Thanks,
Diane
