Hi -

I use IBM 833 256 Ram 27G HD IE6 OE6 ME

I got several error messages when initially tried to install. Per a comment from AW, I reinstalled on top of the bad download. Now the new AW works fine but nothing else does.

Though the mouse is moveable, the computer will not respond to "click" commands. I restarted a couple of times. It works for awhile then reverts to bad habits.

I restored my computer to pre-download but AW 3.5 insists on a download. This leaves me and AW out of business. Nice, because I have 340 auctions going.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi,

Backup all of your data first, namely the images, batches, and data folders located within the AuctionWatch directory of your Program Files folder.

Then, use the add/remove programs option in your control panel to wipe Pro from your system.
Close out of *everything* you run in the background and run the installer once more.
When you are finished installing a clean copy of the 3.75, restart your machine.

When you are finished, you can transfer over some of the saved data to the new copy. I can email you on what to move where, but let us know if this works first or not.

Hi reliant,

Are you creating batches and working within Pro while you are navigating online at the same time?

If so, you may not have enough system resources to pull that off. I would suggest closing out of the Pro software if you are not actively working within it.

unfortunately after a late night download which didnt seem to take on the 3.75 with nothing other than the netzero and windows 98 and out look 5. nothing now seems to navigate. i reloaded the 3.75 and got it to take but the other problems seems to still be there. i hate to trash this computer its older but has numerous auction watch batches and other things on there.

Hi reliant,

It seems there is a problem with your Internet browser and I would suggest trying to update it.

If you are using Internet Explorer, please use the menu entry Tools > Windows Update.
