I have moved and have a new computer and new server. I have downloaded AMPro to my new computer, go in, do all my listings, but each time I get this message when downloading: "Synchronization failed, unable to resolve server name. There is a problem with starting the Auction Sync process. Please check the announcements page on Auction Watch. Help!!!! I find nothing on the announcements and desperately need to get back into business. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, nothing is working...PLEASE HELP!

Hi atomaset,
Are you by any chance using a proxy server to enter the internet? If you are, you will need to enter the proxy server name and port into your preferences.
If you are not using a proxy, please click the "details" button as you synchronize, and paste the results here, so that we can try to diagnose what the problem could be.

Diana....At the risk of sounding stupid...how do I know if I am using a proxy server? I now have Cox cable for my internet, using MSN.....

The use of a proxy server is generally for privacy reasons and typically used by those with cable or DSL. If you have ever used a service like "safeweb" or "anonymizer" - those are proxy server services.
Since you don't know if you are using a proxy, you probably are not. Let me ask, are you using any type of firewall software?
