I keep getting a message from windows that it has found an error and needs to close and report to microsoft only happens in ampro, usually happens when I save a batch or in middle of making a listing any special help from auction watch for this?
Try simply uninstalling the software and reloading a new copy instead. Chances are there may have been some corruption during the install or download process.
If you are having problems running AMPro with Windows XP, you might as well try to use the Windows Classic Desktop Theme. To switch to the Windows Classic theme:
1. Right-click an empty space on the desktop, and then click Properties.
2. On the Themes tab, click Windows Classic in the Theme box.
3. Click OK.

Is AmPro not compatible with Windows XP ? That is, why would you need to switch from the new XP layout to the Windows Classic layout just to use AmPro? Is there a problem with the interface between XP and AmPro?
I am ready to purchase XP and hope that I will be able to continue using AmPro... would be a shame if it didn't work.

Pro does work with XP just as with all other versions of Windows, however when users report errors trying to simply get it up and running for the first time, this workaround can help.
